VITA Chair Position Description:

The VITA chairs will coordinate BAP’s local Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) service program for the year’s tax season, typically from February to April. The chairs will regularly communicate with United Way of King County and the Co-VPs of Service to inform BAP of member participation and hours. All VITA chairs will receive/help organize training on VITA this January. This is a good opportunity to explore tax while improving your resume. Hourly commitment is approximately 3-4 hours per week in the 2017 tax season.
