xACT Case Competition

We are excited to announce that PwC will be hosting its 4th annual case competition at the University of Washington! xACT, which stands for "Extreme Accounting", is a student competition that focuses on accounting policy decisions. The case will provide a wonderful opportunity for you to practice critical thinking, teamwork and presentation skills in the context of a real-world accounting issue as well as win substantial cash prizes!
Who:
YOU! Teams consist of 5 students, including at least 2 sophomores and 1 junior. Remaining team members may be sophomores, juniors, seniors or fifth-year (MPacc) students. All team members must be enrolled in the first accounting courses or be an accounting major/minor at the undergraduate or graduate level.
What:
Teams will be given 2 weeks during October to research a real world accounting and auditing issue which will test their critical thinking, team-building and presentation skills.
