UWAB "Leave a Legacy" Scholarship Drive
Last year many of you came to the homecoming game early to help the UW Alumnae Board raise money by "working" the tailgaters all around the stadium. It was great fun, everyone worked about 3-4 hours and raised over $8,000. UWAB's goal this year is to top $10,000! This year's homecoming game starts at 4 pm. We want to start working the tailgaters by 10 am and will work through the first quarter of the game with buckets in hand.
We'll give out purple and gold beads, wristbands, and pins to give to anyone donates - our slogan is "Dollars for Scholars." This is a fundraiser that needs lots of friendly, outgoing people that aren't afraid to walk up to someone and ask for a donation. There are 60,000 people that attend the games so if we just got $1 from everyone we could make $60,000 in just 6 hours! So come out and help UWAB raise scholarship funds!

When: Saturday, October 18th
Time: Full shift: 12 pm - End of 1st Quarter
Partial shifts: 11:30 am - 2:00 pm or 1:30 pm - End of 1st Quarter
Where: Husky Stadium
Volunteers Needed: 50 people
Signup: Email the BAP Service Committee at bapservice@gmail.com or signup at a weekly meeting with your name, shift, and if you'll be attending the game.
