Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature event for raising money for cancer research. During the overnight event held in UW’s football stadium, team members take turns walking laps into the night to signify that cancer never sleep. When you are not walking, there are food stands, talent shows, improv comedy skits, and even a movie in the early a.m. hours!
Last year was the first year we had a BAP team and it was a great event to participate in. We are sure this year will be even better!
Although the event isn’t until May 3rd, we will spend the next couple of months raising money for our team through many different fundraising events. Keep a look out for these events on the service calendar!
