As you progress through your career, you will discover there are numerous opportunities for philanthropy. You may also discover that there is a great amount of personal satisfaction derived from helping others. For some, Beta Alpha Psi may be the fist organization you have been associated with that, as part of its purpose, wants to give back to the community. For others, Beta Alpha Psi offers an environment where you may continue those efforts.
This year we are striving to integrate our service goals in such a way that all of us will truly enjoy giving back to our community, and at the same time, have some fun. We also plan to perform some of these service events with professionals from the corporate and public accounting firms, allowing you to network.

Financial Reporting Conference sponsored by UW
Earn BAP Service Hours! Volunteers are needed to help set up and help out during a Financial Reporting Conference sponsored by UW.
When: May 12 (3-6pm) and May 13 (1-6pm)
Where: Bell Harbor Conference Center - 2211 Alaskan Way Seattle, WA 98121
Dress Code: May 12 - Casual and May 13 - Full Suits (Business Professional)

Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement is a great way to earn several service hours for BAP as well as serve your community. We are looking for approximately 20 volunteers to go into classrooms and teach students K-6 about important life lessons. Please sign-up by sending an e-mail to Jorge Alegre (jorgealegre.bap@gmail.com). There will also be a sign-up sheet at BAP meetings. Sign-ups open until all 20 spots are filled.
Note: Mandatory hour-long training session after the BAP meeting on February 17
