2017-2018 Leadership Application
The purpose of this application is to give us a better understanding of your ability and desire to hold a leadership position in Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) next year (Winter & Spring Quarter). Before completing the application, please read the following information carefully.
Please complete and return the application with your current resume and unofficial transcript at the Professional Meeting on Thursday, December 7th 2017 or slide under the door of the BAP Office (MacKenzie 240) by 1 p.m. Friday, December 8th 2017. Please note, even if you have submitted an application for leadership in the past, you are still required to attach your resume and unofficial transcript. If you would prefer not to submit an unofficial transcript to the BAP Executive Committee, please email it to email@example.com.

Leadership Position Descriptions:
If selected for a leadership position of Beta Alpha Psi, your work will begin in the Winter 2018 quarter. Specific duties and hours will depend on different leadership roles.
The Banquet Assistant will assist with planning for the Spring Banquet. Tasks may include making slideshows, sending emails, and making purchases. This individual must be able to help with set up on the day of the banquet! This is a great opportunity to be involved with one of our biggest events of the year and learn how BAP puts on a formal dinner. Weekly commitment will be about 1-2 hours per week during spring quarter and about 4 hours on May 23rd just before the banquet.
The Membership Assistant will aid in recruiting initiatives for Beta Alpha Psi. In this role, one will assist in the monitoring and reporting of hours invested by BAP members and candidates, and improving recruiting efforts for BAP on campus. This is a great opportunity for those interested in the VP of Membership position for next year. Hour commitment is 2-3 per week.
The Treasurer Assistant will aid the responsibilities of the Treasurer. In this role, one will assist in the collection of payments and become familiar with budget management. This is a great opportunity for those interested in the Treasurer position for next year. Hour commitment is 2-3 per week.
Network Development Assistant
The Network Development Assistant will assist in planning and executing three main networking dinners including Meet the Corporations, Meet the Members I and Meet the Members II. This is a great opportunity to learn more about BAP’s relationships with sponsors and local companies. Hour commitment will be 2 hours per week in the weeks leading up to the event and 4 hours the day of.
Professional Meeting Assistant
The Professional Meeting Assistant will help coordinate logistics for weekly professional meetings. This includes communicating with the firm, picking weekly topics, and planning and coordinating food. This is a great opportunity to improve networking and written communication skills by following up with professionals about meeting logistics. Hourly commitment is 2 per week (including attending professional meeting).
Gold Video Chair
In order for the Beta Alpha Psi Delta Chapter to qualify as a Gold Chapter at the national level, we must create a video highlighting all the club’s accomplishments over the past year. The Gold Video Chair will have the opportunity to assist in the planning, directing and editing of the video with the New Member Coordinator and the VP of Membership. This is a wonderful opportunity for creative individuals to get involved in BAP! Hourly commitment is up to the individual and their respective officers. Deadline for the video is in May, as it will play during the BAP Annual Banquet. Early planning is advised.
