iExpress Resume and Interview Workshops
Learn what to include in your resume and how to make it stand out, right from the recruiters who will be reading it. You will sit down with a recruiter who will review your resume. Don't miss this chance to get input on what recruiters are looking for. Make sure to bring your resume! For more information, click here.
You will also watch a presentation about interviews by a representative from the UW Career Center. Following that, you will observe a series of mock interviews. Learn what to do (or not to do) as two experienced interviewers conduct and critique interviews with professionals. There will be as many as 15 recruiters reviewing resumes and performing mock interviews. A light dinner will be provided.

Mentor Program

The purpose of this program is to allow BAP members to build relationships with professionals and to allow the professionals to share their experience and knowledge. It is an excellent opportunity for BAP members to learn about the accounting profession, mentor one on one with highly successful business professionals, and get help with career development and transitioning into the career field.
Eligible BAP members will be matched with an experienced professional in early January and meet at least four times over the course of a calendar year. Meeting times/locations will be arranged between the BAP member and his/her mentor.
Eligibility/Requirements
- Have two years to be involved with BAP - Junior Standing
- Current active member/pledge of BAP
- Meet with mentor 4 times over the next calendar year
- Attend the Mentor Program Workshop
- Submit current resume

iExpress Interview Workshop

Learn how to successfully conduct yourself in an interview with accounting firms during the upcoming recruiting season! Recruiters from firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, and Moss Adams will be attending to give you their own personal feedback about what makes a candidate stand out in those crucial interview settings. Also learn about proper etiquette, what NOT to do during an interview, and how to dress for success!
