This is one of BAP’s largest service events, so don’t miss the chance to be a part of this opportunity to network with professionals and provide service to the community by participating in VITA for the 2009 tax season. Accounting Lab for BAP Members
This year, many of our BAP tutors might start calling the Accounting Lab their "home away from home." That's because we're changing the focus of the Accounting Lab to assist not only 200-level, but those 300- and 400-level series courses that we all struggle with. We recruit the best and the brightest students to act as our Lead Tutors, and they’re ready to assist you with the toughest courses.
If you wish to tutor, please contact Amanda Rees at AmandaRees.bap@gmail.com or Paul Febry at PaulFebry.bap@gmail.com. This is a great way to solidify what you're already learning in the classroom, or brush up on some accounting topics in which you are not confident. They say the best way to learn is to teach it, which is why we now call our lab "The CPA Review Course." The more time you spend here, the less time you will spend reviewing for the CPA Exam. Take advantage now.
Important note regarding service time
We will not be accepting any service time under 30 minutes. Since the lab is located in Foster Library, we need to ensure that members signing in really have the intent of tutoring, and not socializing.
We no longer accept drop-in tutors. If you wish to tutor, please contact Amanda Rees (AmandaRees.bap@gmail.com) or or Paul Febry (PaulFebry.bap@gmail.com) ahead of time.
Lab Hours
Monday through Thursday: 1:30-3:30pm
Location: Second floor of the Foster Library
Saturday: 12:00 - 2:00 pm

Independent Tutoring (Tutors)
As expected, certain BAP members or candidates may not be able to tutor during our lab hours due to time conflicts. If you would like to make arrangements to tutor a student on your own time, please contact Amanda Rees (AmandaRees.bap@gmail.com) or Paul Febry (PaulFebry.bap@gmail.com).
