Credit Workshop

Note: These workshops have passed, but you can still learn more with the information provided below.

Do you know what a FICO score is, and if so do you know what your score is? How is it that some people pay higher interest on their homes, while others don’t?

This workshop taught students why credit is so important and how to use your credit card responsibly. The first half of the workshop was led by Washington Mutual professionals. It covered topics such as credit score components, how lenders use credit scores, and what you can do if you are having a hard time making payments.

The second half of the workshop included an educational activity led by the BAP teachers with examples that will help bring all the important information together. This also helps you understand exactly why and how credit scores can affect you.

Now is the best time to learn and start building your credit history wisely. See below!
