Budgeting Workshop

Do you find asking yourself why as the months pass your savings account just doesn’t seem to grow, even though you've worked more hours with an increasing wage? Well, you are not alone! Many college students, and even those out of college, consistently face this issue.
This workshop taught students how to create a budget by estimating monthly income and expenses. It featured a presentation by Washington Mutual professionals and concluded with an interactive activity led by our BAP teachers. Both parts focused on helping students understand how to budget and why it is absolutely necessary. Other aspects of the workshop explained how to track spending habits and will list some tools that will help you have more control over your money!
